We have two enterprising Maltesers serving our traditional Maltese food up here on the GOLD COAST.

One is Jeff at THE VAULT BAR AND GRILL a fine dining restaurant at Southport, open for lunch and dinner, where you can sample a wide variety of tasty dishes, including a delicious Maltese Ravioli. Great food, service and live entertainment.

Just across the road are Charlie and Rose at THE BLARNEY STONE CAFE in Shop G117 at Australia Fair Shopping Centre. They are open 6 days a week from 7.30 - 5.30, later on Thursday night and on Sunday 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. Rose comes from the same area my mum came from, Hamrun in Malta.

They do a highly rated Rabbit Stew with Spaghetti for us Maltesers.

On the SUNSHINE COAST we have Alex at the BICA BISTRO at Shop 5, Number 2 Ocean Street, Maroochydore.

His number is 07 5309 6302, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bookings a must. The Bistro serves a blend of modern Australian cuisine with influences from Malta and the Mediterranean. Alex is getting the locals used to our pastizzi!
